This past season the Cougars posted a team GPA of 3.39, a number that ranks the ladies first in the athletic department for the third straight year, and first place in the entire Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. “It goes without saying that I am proud of our student-athletes,” stated head coach Aimee Davison. “Our academic expectations are high, and the girls continually meet and exceed those expectations. All of the praise should go to the girls on the team – they are the ones working so hard to represent Cougar Athletics well on the court and, in this case, in the classroom.” Add as favourites (39) | Quote this article on your site
